Class Description:
Explore the vibrant world of soft pastels in this immersive eight-week course, designed for both beginners and those looking to refine their skills. In this hands-on class, you will learn essential techniques such as blending, layering, and creating textures, while experimenting with a wide range of pastel colors.
Throughout the course, students will work on a variety of still life, landscape, and abstract projects, gaining confidence in handling this expressive medium. Whether you’re a novice or looking to develop your existing pastel skills, this course will guide you in capturing light, shadow, and form with the unique softness and vibrancy of pastels.
All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is necessary. By the end of the class, students will have completed several personal works and a solid understanding of pastel techniques.
